I don’t have faith that electing progressive candidates will be sufficient to preserve the representative democratic order in the US, rather it seems necessary to elect individuals with enough fortitude to literally fight, as we, apparently, will all have to do along the current trajectory. It’s not so much that social progressivism isn’t a priority, but it’s a lesser concern to me for now than losing the game altogether.
