@buspirate Soon you'll need to put little ID chips on each of the breakout boards, so that the bus pirate can identify the automatically ;-)
@buspirate If it's just for ID, maybe a dirt cheap OTP micro like the Padauk PMS150C-U06 ?
@cibomahto or I guess risk V... The new tutorial mode takes a lot of pain out of setup though, but it's still buggy when multiple files are open at the same time. I need to dig into that this weekend.
@cibomahto even the GX domestic 1wire eeproms are expensive. Not that expensive, but my last quote was 2-3kuai which would be a big portion of most of the board's BOM costs. It's an interesting situation. I'd really like to make a 1-wire network card with 10 devices, but the only reasonably low cost stuff I can find is the domestic GX18B20 and GX2431. Totally open to suggestions.
