@wormyrocks What platform are you writing it for? TinyUSB (for example) has a MIDI endpoit example: github.com/hathach/tinyusb/tre

It should be a nice exercise to make a multiclass USB device :-)

This HP pen has a funny approach to compliance labels. All the logos are on an easily removable sticker, and there's even a pull tab to encourage this. Seems like this defeats the purpose of putting them on in the first place?

The ram on this i7-1255U laptop is apparently faster than the ram in my Ryzen 9 7950X desktop:

Very exciting news, you can now BUY an Alles synthesizer (or 4!) Our friends at Blinkinlabs are manufacturing a small run of Alles PCBs. This is the first time they're available for sale after a beta with some great musicians for the past year.

Resin printer material exploration: printing with Amerilabs TGM-7, an extremely thin object (left, 8 gram) is extremely flexible and feels almost like paper, while a fully solid object (right, 150 gram) almost feels like it could be ceramic. This is my favorite resin so far.

The built-in calibration project on the Prusa SL1S is neat- it prints a model with 8 different exposure settings simultaneously, allowing you to pick the best one: help.prusa3d.com/article/resin If I followed their advice for longer expose, this might have worked in the first round

Trying to make a profile for the Prima creator "crystal clear" resin on the SL1S. Prima lists the exposure speed as similar to their "tough" variant, but with 10x the viscosity. For some reason, it seems the exposure time needs to be much longer (>5x apparently).

@holly They should come with instructions for setting up an endowment for their future care

Got a little help bringing up the CH55x reset boards; they're designed to put a WCH CH55-series processor into bootloader mode automatically, via either a button press or HID request.

I'd like to see what's happening in the host USB stack to give ~200us turnaround times between control transfers..

Eurocircuits has a neat online DRC setup; in this case, it didn't like my 0.3/0.6 vias, so it autocorrected them to 0.25/0.6.

Nice part: STM's USBDF01W5 includes both ESD diodes and an RC EMI filter in a SOT23 package. Very convenient that it has the same footprint as common ESD-only parts ;-) st.com/en/protections-and-emi-

Logic 1 does support this, but I'd much rather use 2 these days.
