Hey, who would have thought, I still have #ADHD 😂

Yes, the psychiatrist actually asked me to go see a psychologist and get a new diagnosis in order to be sure about medication.

So first, I got to fill in 3 questionnaires.

One looked like it was a copy of a faxed copy of a printout from 20 years ago.

One had typos in it.

And the third had nothing at all to do with ADHD.

Then, I got to do computer tests, yay!

On a laptop that seemed barely able to run the program.

Only half of the tests indicated time left.
One started out saying "You will be spending 25 minutes doing this", and it felt like AN ETERNITY.
Especially because I literally had to watch a dot move around in a circle and push a button if it did two hops instead of one. I nearly fell asleep a couple of times.
Ratio of hits to misses: about 2 to 1 😂

I guess most #ADHD tests are literally just "Let's see how fast this person get bored."

@pascoda Yep, it's quite a challenge, too. How do you reliably make people bored, so you can measure their reaction to boredom, while still having them do an activity, and that activity not being intellectually challenging (so that doesn't confound the result) and while triggering accidental hyperfocus in the fewest number of people (because that would produce false negatives). Tricky.
