Last Christmas I received this drill as an Xmas present. It's great, chews through walls like they aren't even there. But it creates a lot of dust which is a faff, and means I'm less likely to use it. In the Autumn I bought the vacuum attachment for it. Today I used it properly for the first time.

It's amazing. Absolutely no mess. And also doubles as a depth stop, which prevents me going all the way through the wall (which is very easy to do otherwise).

Absolutely brilliant.

@quixoticgeek dust extraction is 100% the best QoL upgrade for DIY. Just spent five days on and off the last couple of weeks sanding back some walls in a room adjacent to our living room but as I'm using a sander with mesh nets and a Bosch GAS 35 M hooked up, literally zero dust. No cleaning, no dust masks, no dust sheets, no mess. Having done half the house with this setup, can't imagine having gotten it all done without the extractor!

@james aye. I have a nice big Makita 18v vacuum as well, which I'm gonna add a cyclone to. It's a brilliant bit of kit.
