@th Do GUI apps handle monochrome display? That font rendering seems like it's assuming the display is fancier.
@csepp X has support for monochrome since many early xterminals were mono, but almost no modern applications are written to handle it and crash if it isn't a TrueColor. And the Psion display is 2-bit, so I'm hoping to figure out how to get at least four shades of gray like the original NeXT.
