@penguin42 yes, it's 5N1.5. The photo isn't very well focused, although you can see the longer stop bit and brushes.

@th Hmm, so 5 bit data, start and stop; is that 8 segments or is one segment longer? is the segment it's currently over the same size or is it longer - 1.5 bit stop?
