It is now time to perform the ceremonial "Closing of the Tabs", which is celebrated after finalizing a multi-stage cross-border European rail/ferry trip that required dozens of different websites to coordinate.

@th what's the gift you get if you send in your itinerary?

@hannah that year it was "Mapominoes", a Dominos-like card game with a European geography and transit theme.

@th oh my god that's so cool! I was expecting like, a water bottle with a logo on it

@th I can only aspire to your levels of tab-closing fortitude.

@th: It's København, though. Koebenhavn is the fall-back spelling for when your pen only supports 7-bit ASCII.

@th: Fun fact: Danish is such a complicated language that the name of the København's largest railway station, København Hovedbanegård, is officially spelt København H.

You can tell that Germans are thrice less lazy spellers, for the official abbreviation of the German word that means Hoved·bane·gård, Haupt·bahn·hof, is thrice as long, as in Berlin Hbf.

@th: Another stroke you're missing is in Wrocław.

@th I find myself wondering what the constraints were on your planning choices that made you choose those routes...
