Among all the other reasons I am annoyed by this Spanish flight ban stuff is this share pic from the Swiss news portal Watson that keeps popping up on social media…

*it shows a Renfe DIESEL train running under an electric wire* as the alternative 🤨 (it's a Renfe 334 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renfe_Cl )

(I don't even think the stats are true in the graphic either)

@jon what's also completely ignored is that you can also take a bigger variety of items on a plane (as checked luggage) than on a Spanish HS train. The Spanish HS train security makes using them for anything other than a businessman in a suit too difficult.
