I’ll be off the grid for a few weeks and back online sometime in mid to late October.

Checking in on the night watch (but really turning the phone off now)

There’s better internet at the higher altitudes.

Borrowing some internet from the UK as we near the cliffs of Dover

We’ve put Skagen to our rudder and are making way into Kattegat.

After a night of tacking we are becalmed within sight of Copenhagen and are spending the day at anchor.

@th I love your photos. I am not a sailor. But I read a ton of both fiction and non fiction set on a variety of great (and not so great) sailing ships, mostly 1600ish to early 1800s. Your photos give me more clarity to what I imagined. And, credit to many author's I've read, the pictures in my head weren't too far off! Bon voyage and safe travels!

@th glad that you can take pictures of ships from all vantage points.

@th I like the light of the sun in the sails.

@th ER-ROL-FLYNN! ER-ROL-FLYNN! ER-ROL-FLYNN! [crew groans as another sail is ruined]

@phooky after watching the amount of effort required to sew a patch by hand, I would not dare risk the bosun’s ire by Erol Flynning a sail.

@th that sounds painful. Do you need to get that checked by a doctor ?

@th are you following Hornblower's Baltic route? Or is that a coincidence/ inevitable?
