Self contained Pixel Wrangler demo is ready to travel. See it at the hackaday Berlin lightning talk or Sunday brunch!
@th i have a couple adafruit 64x64 panels and i have no idea how to set them up. could i bribe you to pick your brain?
@Viss ADAFruit usually has good docs and samples for their products. That said, you also need a driver for whatever you’re controlling them with. (e.g. if you’re using a RPi, you’d want something like this: https://www.adafruit.com/product/3211), and then grab the right libraries from ADAFruit (usually Python-based).
@Viss Oh, this looks like a reasonable start: https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-rgb-matrix-bonnet-for-raspberry-pi/overview
@marczak oh hey this is great!
@th
Is that the 4k upscaled version of that video?
@th I hear that Best Buy's gold HDMI cables will help increase picture quality, only $70. Worth it.
@th I can hear the display lol
?
But is it the 1987 version or 2022
@th Rickrolled?
@th Low Definition Media Interface
The worlds lowest resolution HDMI display makes for a fine demo, although it is not the most interesting use case for the pixel wrangler.
