The RPI2040 with a generic 12MHz crystal has a weirder variance over temperature than I expected. The measurements are repeatable, but might be off by some % since my equipment isn't calibrated.

Our FDM printer had gotten extremely loud, and I thought I needed to replace the bearings or something. Just putting some foam under it was enough to reduce it ~15dBA, and now I can hear the raindrops outside again.

The DIY AOI inspection bot is getting closer to being useful. The vision system is reasonably well calibrated, but the x&y axes have ~0.5mm of backlask 😬
I think this qualifies as retro computing hardware these days. This fancy thing is a DVD+-R/RW drive rescued from my long-dead MacBook! I don't actually own any CDs to test it with so I had to borrow one from Honghong.
