We’ve put the Golden Gate Bridge behind our rudder and will be off line for the next month as we cross the Pacific.

Internet comes in via geosynchronous satellite that is directly ahead and can’t pass through the three masts, so we’ve altered course slightly to check email for the first time in a few days.

A rainbow brought us a little bit of Internet this morning.

40 kts wind so it’s time to furl the top gallant.

Hope for a quiet evening watch without too much sail handling

Other than occasional checking on the braces and sheets we didn’t touch the sails all night

So much water! We’re hoping to see Hawaii soon to take on more provisions.

Lousy weather as we approach the island, but better internet service and so much wind that we’re making 7.5 kts on the fore lower topsail alone.

Harbour furled and sitting at anchor while awaiting clearance into the port.

And we’re finally pier side in Honolulu for two days.

Sailing something a little smaller before we cast off lines this afternoon and head towards Japan.

@th Oh, right next to the Aloha Tower.

This used to be the big cruise ship terminal. These days, it's one of the quieter spots in central Honolulu.

@th Ooh, you're flying the Dutch flag! Didn't know that.

@th Safe travels to the Land of the Rising Sun!

@th Clew, bunt, bunt, leech... Pretty! Staying on till Tokyo ?
